Electromagnetic Brainology is an installation and performance by Shanghai based artist Lu Yang.
In Buddhism, the four great elements are fire, earth, water, and air. Lu Yang re-imagines the elements as superhero gods, each corresponding to a different part of the human central nervous system. The work was developed as a live 3D motion-tracking performance presented as part of the #You #Me #OurSelfies exhibition at the Hong Kong Visual Arts Centre in January 2018. The work is presented as a 3-channel installation as of TRANSFER Download at NADA Art Fair in New York from 8-11 March 2018.
