The concept of mobility as a system is taking on ever higher value in multiple fields, from urban area planning to the challenge of sustainability, the everyday management of user needs and the compromise between public and private transport. In such a global scenario, the Central Academy of Fine Arts (CAFA) in China is proposing a new training model. This takes a logical-analytical approach to design innovative solutions for meeting the needs of this new scenario by exploiting the possibilities offered by the latest robotics and artificial intelligence technologies.从城市区域规划到可持续性的挑战,再到如何满足公众的日常出行需求,以及如何协调公共和私人交通之间的关系,“出行系统设计”的概念在这些领域体现出越来越高的重要性。为应对这些场景,中央美术学院在中国进行了教学研究实践方式的迭代,以逻辑化的分析方法,基于最新的机器人和人工智能技术所提供的可能性,为新兴技术社会下的需求提供创新性解决方案。CAFA's Department of "Mobility Innovation" is an evolution of the Department of Transportation Design, which was established within the university in 2006. The training model has been subject to constant updating, from "automotive design" , "transport design" to "mobility innovation design"and then "Smart Mobility". Particularly in recent years, it has adapted to the need to shift the focus from the vehicle to an intelligent mobility system, the context being the rapid rise of emerging technologies in which the relationship between human and artificial intelligence is undergoing a dramatic shakeup, as are design methods themselves. 中央美术学院设计学院出行创新方向前身为成立于2006年的交通工具设计专业。在设计学院教学改革的推动下,方向经过从“汽车设计”到“交通工具设计”、“出行创新设计”再到“智能出行”的持续性的教学范式迭代,近年来该方向将研究重点从汽车造型设计转向智能出行系统设计。特别是在新兴科技快速发展的背景之下,人与人工智能的关系正发生颠覆性变革,人工智能本身也正在成为不可或缺的设计手段。The aim of the course is to encourage students to develop research projects that look at the intelligent mobility of the future by overcoming the constraints of traditional design thinking. This is done by comprehensively analysing possible changes in urban forms, road traffic systems, public spaces, social dynamics, consumption patterns and logistics systems, in order to form a kind of symbiotic system. 出行创新设计方向旨在激励学生突破传统设计方法与思维的限制,以智能出行背景下的未来出行可能性为切入点展开课题。这需要综合考虑城市形态、道路交通系统、公共空间、社会形态,消费模式与物流系统之间的关系,以形成一种和谐共生的系统。To achieve this goal, CAFA's Mobility Innovation department has struck up partnerships with more than forty car brands around the world and established cooperation agreements between industry, academia and research. Among the brands involved: Audi, FAW, Volkswagen, Nissan, Hyundai, SAIC, GAC and BAIC. With BMW, it has created the Concept Next Lab, while together with Li Auto and Didi, the university has set up the Intelligent Mobility Innovation Lab, which proposes an innovative research model with "mobility" as its origin and "practice-based innovation" as its aim. Furthermore, thanks to partnerships with more than ten universities and institutions around the world, international exchange programmes between professors and students are in place to share resources and information. 面对新时代的形势变局、产业变革、危机与挑战,深刻研读新文科建设内核,设计学院以中国高等教育发展新需求、新变化、新阶段、新特征为依据,将设计学科与现代信息技术等其他专业集群相融合,于新工科、新医科、新农科提出的新命题、新方法、新技术、新手段中,创造新方向、新标准及新价值判断,并研判后疫情时代的全球政治、经济变化,以人类既有的社会组织结构、生产与消费方式为课题研究切入点,以学科专业划分为工具与方法,构建危机意识主导的全新学科教育架构与学科资源整合平台,全面聚焦应对人类未来生存模式的思考与行动。
